Just a little thing that makes me feel dubitative: the secondary box isn't a little bit too high?

Becasue I think that you can earn a couple of grams by reduce it size, or, the better way, by making a single ring secondary box with a pyramidal secondary support.

Very simple, clean structure and a very fine finish and from this standpoint I'd say it is the same breed like the Krieg structure. Congratulation Víctor you did a great job !

 

By the way do you find the central fan useful in the long run ?

Thank you all. The secondary cage is slightly oversized on purpose, it has a 450 mm of inside diameter for a 406 mm f5 primary mirror. I am not convinced ultra-compact designs in the style of Obsession UC telescopes, so I built a hybrid between the classic and the UC Dobson.

Yes, the central fan help, this run an only 800 rmp
